Coach-Net Roadside Assistance

We decided last year that we were paying way too much for roadside assistance. We had only ever required roadside service once in our ten year love affair with the Canadian Auto Association  (same as AAA in the US but Canadian) but their pricing seemed to be getting a little silly. We did the research and with a lot of help from sources like the forums on RV.net and IRV2.com  it all  came down to either we go with  Good Sam and Coach-Net. These two are definitely the two most popular and well thought of RV services out there. I have a thing about Good Sam and the way they love to fill your mail box with junk mail once they have your address so for us Coach Net got the nod. We bought the service while on the road in Oregon and hoped we would never find out how whether or not it works for us.

A couple of weeks ago we had a blowout.  We were about to find out if we had made the right decision when we had called Coach-Net.

It was about 10 am on Good Friday morning when we called. From a screen on our GPS we were able to tell them our exact location. They asked all the right questions, understood that we had a large motor home, not a small car, understood we needed a new tire and promised to call back with a plan of action. True to her word, within 15 minutes she was back to us, quoting a price for a new tire from a local tire dealer and with our acceptance promised that service would be there with in the hour. Forty five minutes later the service truck arrived and he immediately got to work.

He had nearly completed the job when Coach-Net called yet again; this time to confirm that we were being looked after.

Long story short: We are happy Coach-Net customers. We obviously have no problems recommending this company, we are happy with the service they provide.

Just one more comment;  I hope we never talk to them again but I am now convinced; If we do call we will be well looked after.
