New Fuel Efficient Van from Winnebago

travato1 Winnebago is now shipping their new Travato Class B’s on the also new Dodge Ram ProMaster chassis.
This “touring coach” from Winnebago at just under 21′ in length is less than 7′ wide.

Thanks to the front wheel drive this van gives 6’3″ interior head space with less than 7′ exterior height.

It is powered by a 280 hp, 3.8L V-6 engine with 6 speed transmission said to deliver 16+ miles per gallon. The Winnebago Travato is rated to pull up to 3500 pounds and can carry another ton in the coach.

This new entry to their “Touring Coach” product lineup features Led lighting inside and out and an eleven foot electric awning. The 59G floor plan offers an extra-large rear bathroom area and all the features you would expect to find in its big brothers. The 46 x 75″ bed also folds up for room for the bikes in transit. The only issue I can see is the size of the bed. At 46 by 77 it’s really only what we used to call a 3/4 bed, but if you can get past that and are looking for a fuel efficient rv travel vehicle best you visit your Winnebago dealer before you make your decision.

You can learn more about Winnebago Travato here.
As well you will want to check out Car and Drivers review on the ProMaster van before Winnebago adds to the van
